Cheesecake Swirl Brownies

What you'll need:

Ingredients for cheesecake layer:
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened 

    1 egg

    1/4 tsp lemon juice (could be omitted if you do not have it)

    3 TBSP sweetener of choice

     

    Directions:

    Prepare brownies as directed on package and pour 2/3 of the mix into lined 8x8 pan.

    Using a hand or stand up mixer, blend together cream cheese and sweetener until no lumps are in the cream cheese. Add egg and lemon juice and continue mixing for 1 minute.

    Pour cream cheese mix over brownie layer.

    Add remaining brownie batter in dollops onto of the cheesecake layer.

How to prepare:

  • Pour cheese cake mix over brownie layer. 
  • Add remaining brownie batter in dollops on top on the cheesecake layer
  • Using a toothpick swirl cream cheese into brownies using a "figure 8" motion.
  • Bake for 35 minutes.
